The Benefits of Internship

As an intern in our equine therapy program, Reins in Motion Foundation, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of experienced therapists and trained horses. You will learn how to interact with the horses, groom and care for them, and observe therapy sessions to see firsthand how these magnificent animals can help people heal.

In addition to working with the horses, you will also have the opportunity to interact with clients and assist with therapy sessions. You will learn how to create lesson plans, set goals for clients, and evaluate their progress over time. This hands-on experience will give you valuable insight into the field of equine therapy and help you develop the skills needed to pursue a career in this rewarding profession.

For anyone interested in pursuing equine therapy as a profession, Reins will help guide you through the process of obtaining your PATH certification.  Please visit the PATH website, pathintl.org for more information.

Not only will this internship provide you with practical experience, but it will also give you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of others. Equine therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and physical disabilities. By participating in our program, you will be helping people improve their quality of life and achieve their full potential.
